Mighty MO Ukulele Festivalorganized and supported by Boat Paddle Ukulele Company
JULY 10-13, 2014
The 2014 MMUF will be held at Cedar Creek, an all-inclusive retreat center. Your accommodations and meals are on-site for a convenient fun-filled, "jam-packed" weekend!
The Festival will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday July 10th, as an optional first day so festival attendees can enjoy a more relaxed pace for informal jams and meeting up with ukefest friends. The Festival ends after breakfast and the closing ceremony on Sunday morning, July 13th. Performers for the Saturday Night Concert will be Brook Adams from Oregon and the Flea Bitten Dawgs from Missouri.
The Festival will include workshops, an open house at Boat Paddle Ukulele Company, free-style jams, all-group jams, beginner instruction, "Best of the Jam" performances, open mic, a Saturday night concert of featured musicians, a silent auction, raffles, the swap & shop corner, and vendor market. See the festival schedule here.
Three festival players who win a spot by secret ballot, voted as the best by their jam-mates, perform on the main stage as "Best of the Jam" to open the Saturday Night Concert.
